Walnut started with a simple observation: traditional coaching doesn't stick. Companies spend millions on L&D programs that employees skip, ignore, or forget within weeks. Individuals invest in coaching that feels generic because the coach wasn't the right fit. The problem was never the coaching itself — it was the delivery, the matching, and the engagement.
We asked: what if coaching felt less like a corporate checkbox and more like something you actually wanted to do? What if the science of personality assessment met the engagement mechanics of games? What if an algorithm — not a sales call — matched you with your ideal coach?

Our Journey
Phase 1 — The Beginning | Happiness Coach
We started as a traditional coaching company — connecting people with coaches, running workshops, and delivering corporate programs the way everyone else did. It worked, but it didn't scale, and engagement was always the problem.
Phase 2 — The Shift | Gamified Coaching
Recognized by Stanford Seed for innovation, we rebuilt our entire methodology around gamification. We developed proprietary personality assessments combining OCEAN, DISC, and Enneagram into a single game-based experience. We created mental model games based on 25+ behavioral science frameworks. Engagement numbers transformed.
